Ever want to make your own yarn? Now is your chance, participants will learn how to spin and ply wool yarn from fleece on a drop spindle, this workshop is for beginners no experience necessary.  Spinning with a drop spindle is portable and accessible and you will be able to continue your spinning journey at home or at the studio. All supplies will be provided, with the option to purchase your spindles.

Simon Jiang is a weaver, spinner, and knitter working in Boston. He received his BFA from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts. He is interested in the mechanics of all types of looms and spinning wheels.
